Back in 2010 Staffordshire Stray served its purpose but became rather limiting
thereafter. The word birds did not appear anywhere in the
title thus it was bypassed in a google
search for bird blogs. Birds of Allen Road is aimed
specifically at those species recorded along this 2km stretch of road; Birding the South Burnett is just that –
restricted to birding within this region.
That left huge chunks of our more recent birding activities without a
natural home in which to sit. This blog
aims to address that anomaly.
Recycled? From once
cherished thoughts of becoming a bigger fish in a larger birding pond, I have
become satisfied with remaining a small fry in a roadside puddle.
